Arches - Macassar Ebony 10.5 x 5 x 2.5 - sometimes a
good idea goes awry and thereby an opportunity arises for a very
different piece at the beginning this was headed for a completely
different design but two areas of unseen hairline cracks forced the
removal of wood that made the first choice form impossible once the
offending wood was removed this form gradually made itself known - I
like the very fat bowl and the repetitive loops that make the handle
mostly sapwood with heartwood (black) highlights - $2500 -
