“Conquistador” - Honduras Rosewood Burl – 16 x 8 x 7 - A powerful new
work evoking a helmet with the bowl and bowl rim shape. This spoon has
power and seems to dominate its surroundings - the wood is exceptionally
rich – the bowl is totally burl with the pronounced rim all straight
grain – the handle is largely burl with some curving straight grain
