Big Al Algerita Burl (Arizona) 2002 14 x 6.5 x
2.75 Collection of the Fuller Craft Museum Purchased funded by Pat
McCauley Algerita is a Sonora Desert bush. This wood always has holes,
cracks, and seems to have survived in spite of harsh conditions. Big Al
seems like a bar bouncer of a spoon, a rough, tough guy with lots of
battle scars.
