Oysterwood Spoon - 6.25 x 2.75 x 1 - 1993 - Thanks to
the generous donation of John and Robyn Horn this spoon is now part of
the permanent collection of the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art. This piece
of Oysterwood came from Carleton McClendon's Rare Woods in Atlanta, GA.
It grows in south Florida and is a small tree seldom exceeding 5 inches
in diameter. The tree is protected on state land but salvage following
hurricanes yields some of this rare and beautiful wood.
