NOTE: This spoon was made at
the Echo Lake Collaborative, an annual event held at Buck's County
Community College north of Philadelphia. This was my second chance to
participate in this very stimulating fundraiser for the local chapter of
the AAW. Over 50 makers, several not from the area, work together for 2
1/2 days collaboratively to create wonderful objects which are auctioned
on the last day. It's a high intensity fun, tools and techniques are
shared, and new ideas are generated. Each maker brings items for the
Resource Room and these become the raw materials for each collaboration.
