Craft in America
I have one spoon in this show touring the United States.
Craft in America – Expanding Traditions is a central component in a
series of special projects created by Craft in America Inc., a
non-profit organization dedicated to exploring craft in the United
States, and its impact on our nation’s cultural heritage. The four
major elements of our work are: Craft in America – Expanding
Traditions, a national touring exhibition of exceptional craft objects;
Craft in America, a three-part television series; the Craft in America
companion book; and the Craft in America website. Each project is
designed and timed to enhance and support the others, thereby generating
maximum awareness of craft and sparking a national discussion on the
role and importance of craft in our society.
