Norm Sartorius - Ancient Kanooka Spoon 2013

Ancient Kanooka Spoon – 6.5 x .75 x .75 - From Australia, this wood is 3 – 5,000 years old. It was dug from a river bank and the prolonged burial stained the wood almost black. The texture on top is the surface that was in touch with the dirt underground. A tiny spoon with tiny flutes repeated under most of the handle. $450 - SOLD. Photography by Jim Osborn.
