Aquarium Wood Spoon, 3.75 x 2.5 x 1.5, I have kept aquariums all my life and sometimes decorate the inside of the tank with pieces of weathered wood. Aquarium stores sell special wood for this purpose. One of these is Mopani, an African wood that is usually contorted and gnarly. I can’t believe that I’ve neglected this wood for 35 years. It’s very dense and has good heartwood/sapwood contrast. This is the first spoon I’ve made from it. The handle comes over the bowl and it’s a hard piece to photograph. $375. Photography
