Birds Eye Maple Spoon - 11.5 x 1.5 x 1 - 1984 - $625. A
40 year old spoon that we kept for its unique quality. Usually the
streaks of color in maple left by small worms as they move through the
wood are most common in soft maple. This is a piece of birds-eye sugar
maple and considerably harder. I focused on that dark streak which I
found appealing. It has an ebony rest for display. Provenance: Artist
