Norm Sartorius - Bog Oak Spoon CBMAA

Bog Oak Spoon – 8.5 x 2.75 x .75 – From the peat bogs of Ireland via eBay this very black piece of oak is 3,000 - 5,000 years old – difficult to dry it works like modern oak – a flat cut piece this spoon shows the medullary rays to great advantage in the bowl of the spoon.
