Norm Sartorius - Mahogany Spoon

Mahogany Spoon – 11 x 4 x 3 – Collaboration with Mike Jakowsky and Lionel Grant - this was first turned as a winged vessel by Mike then I cut most of one wing off and altered the remaining wing to form a handle – the burned surface decoration was added by Lionel Grant. This spoon was auctioned on eBay to raise money for a new cultural center in Northern Saskatchewan, Canada. SOLD. Photography by Jim Osborn.
