“Ripple” – Elm Burl – (Scotland) – 2011 – 9.5 x 7.5 x 4.25 - While on vacation in Scotland in the late 1980s we came across a wood business with a sign advertising burls. I bought the piece used here on the spot. The title suggests the concentric ripples in water when something hits the surface.
