“Spoon Dreams 2012” - Budgeroo (Australia) - 13.5 x 6 x 6 - The most
recent among a series of at least 6 (so far) sculptures that investigate
the origin of ideas. Fragments of spoons are seen encased in a mass. In
my experience good ideas come from access to a rather magical place
where all bowls, all handles, all spouts, all textures, all woods, all
of everything needed resides. All choices are clear, all decisions made
perfect. It’s a fleeting and occasional state that all artists know.
$6800 - SOLD. Photography by Jim Osborn.
