“Spoon Dreams II" –
2007 – Brazilian Rosewood – 9 x 6
x 6 - Taking spoons further into abstraction this shows spoon parts in
relief, a handle, part of a bowl, the suggestion of a design. The wood
was a gift from the furniture maker, John Bickel, who acquired this from
the Martin Guitar sawmill many years ago – the base is ebonized Cherry
