Turning Point - Lignum Vitae – 10 x 2.5 x 3 - $2200. I started this piece at the onset of a major illness in 2006 but left it unfinished for a couple of years. It speaks to the personal consequences of physical and mental trauma. It is made from a piece of Lignum Vitae gifted from David Ellsworth. This piece has a wax finish as Lignum Vitae is a very oily wood that will not take a normal oil finish. Photo: Jim Osborn

Turning Point exhibited in the West Virginia Art and Craft Guild 10th Competition. The exhibition was held at three locations in West Virginia; The Parkersburg Art Center, November 2014, Wheeling Artisan Center, February 2015, and The Huntington Museum of Art, March 2015.
